We Must Love Our Brothers

1/5/2007

speech bubble representing person 1 talkingI have a song. Just like you asked a question of all of us, maybe we can sing this song together with you.

Deep, deep, down, down

Deep down in my heart

Deep, deep, down, down

Deep down in my heart

Do you love your Jesus,

Deep down in your heart?

Yes, I love my Jesus,

Deep down in my heart.

Deep, deep, down, down

Deep down in my heart

Deep, deep, down, down

Deep down in my heart

Do we love our Jesus,

Deep down in our hearts?

Yes, we love our Jesus,

Deep down in our heart.

speech bubble representing person 2 talkingCan we sing the same song with the questions, “Do I love my Brother? Do I love my Sister?”

Deep, deep, down down

Deep down in my heart

Deep, deep, down down

Deep down in my heart

Do I love my Brother,

Deep down in my heart?

Yes, I love my Brother,

Deep down in my heart.

Do I love my Sister,

Deep down in my heart?

Yes, I love my Sister,

Deep down in my heart.

Do we love our Brothers,

Deep down in our hearts?

We must love our Brothers,

Deep down in our hearts.

Do we love our Sisters,

Deep down in our hearts?

We must love our Sisters,

Deep down in our hearts

speech bubble representing person 6 talkingIt seems I can overcome the world outside my family, but the world seems to defeat me inside my family. That does not make much sense. I am with my biological family more hours than I am with this Family. And if I am failing with my own children, I cannot help other people’s children lead a good life. I could possibly start there in my home and try to shine and do good things. But then I can end up striving like a “good baptist” in my own home with my children and my wife. And if we are all just “good baptists” in our homes, then the meetings will be dead. And there will be a lot of sin and weakness and a lot of apologies. So we come to this issue again that I must learn how to live my life with my spouse and my children.
